




LEGAL STATUS
OCU Bible College and Seminary operates under the corporate status of One Church Universe Inc., Vallejo, California. We are a non-profit religious organization; exclusively for charitable, religious, educational, and scientific purposes that include such purposes as the making of distributions to organizations that qualify as exempt organizations under section 501 (c) 3 of Internal Revenue Code, or corresponding section of any future federal tax code. OCU Bible College and Seminary is recognized as an extension school of New Covenant International Bible College and Institute of Christian Works. If you plan to use a degree from OCU Bible College and Seminary in transfer at another religious institution, or for licensing, credentialing, or advancement at your place of employment, we advise you to check with that school, organization, agency, entity, etc., to see if a degree from OCU Bible College and Seminary is acceptable to them. This should be done prior to enrolling.
ACCREDITATION
By definition, the word "accredit" means to authorize, endorse, and officially approve of. Accreditation is a process by which the school agrees to adhere to specified standards in order to encourage quality education.
Religious schools are not legally required to become accredited, but it provides a good standing. Accredited status means a school has voluntarily submitted to a comprehensive examination to determine that it operates at a high level of quality performance.
OCU Bible College and Seminary has two full accrediting status.
World-Wide Accreditation Commission of Christian Educational Institutions: 2800 Blendwell Rd., Richmond, VA 23224 (Dr. Paul Richardson).
World Council of Postsecondary and Religious Education: (934 S. Burlington Blvd. #635, Burlington, WA 98233, and 7001 Saint Andrews Rd, #325, Columbia, SC 29212 (Dr. Preston Bradley Carey).
Due to the principle of separation of Church and State (Mark 12:17; James 4:4; II Corinthians 6:14), neither of these organizations seek endorsement from either EAES or COPA, but is rapidly growing as respected networks of over 200 schools; not associated with the U.S. Department of Education, and solely for religious purposes.
COPYING AND LINKING
OCU Bible College and Seminary does not allow sites to reproduce any articles from this website and put them on their websites because it has an adverse affect on page rankings. You may copy articles and place them in your church bulletins, newsletters, etc. in non-electronic format. You may copy parts of OCU Bible College and Seminary articles for use in emails, as long as they do not end up on other websites. Again, we do not want search engines to find articles from OCU Bible College and Seminary anywhere except on this website.
